it's raining a lot. not just physical rain... but emotional one too. i don't sleep well anymore and one more emotional stress and the tears will start running down my face. we all know it's hard but we also know sometimes we need to rest. at least some of us know it. we should all be invencible. so why aren't we? no one should have weaknesses right?! so why do we have them? and still i'm alive at the end of the day.

i haven't post nothing these last days cause i'm full of work in university. projects here and there, exams. i haven't been paying much attention to da... but as soon as the winter holidays arrive i'll post something.

:( wish i could be a good writer like you

:iconblush--plz: i'm not all that great!

but it's one of those stupid "practice makes perfect" kinda things...

i began writing as a hobby about four years ago. about six months in, i discovered fanfiction. and while my stories were [are] pitiful attempts at literature, i found myself growing as an author - i myself could see the difference within a year. my vocabulary had shot through the roof - to the point that i rarely have the need to study vocabulary - not even for the SATs [i'm american, dunno if u are]. my poetry got a lot better in the last three months, since i began devouring it from authors that i look up to. i haven't imitated their styles or their words, but have used them as inspiration when i have a block. but i digress - my point is, it has taken me years to get where i am. they weren't particularly rough years in terms of writing [well, what i wrote was terrible, but i enjoyed doing it], but they were still time. and i know that i'll improve in coming years as well - afterall, i've only been alive 15, and have a lifetime ahead!

anyway, don't abandon hope, just do what i did! (:
